Delete your account

This request page works without the Forespeak app.

Request account deletion

In the Forespeak app, open Profile, choose Delete account, review the warning, and confirm. You can also start a permanent-deletion request from this page by emailing us from the address connected to your account.

If the button does not open your email app, send the request to hello@forespeak.ai with the subject “Delete my Forespeak account.”

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge the request without revealing whether an account exists for an unverified address.
  2. We verify that you control the account, normally through its sign-in method or registered email.
  3. We delete the account and associated data and send confirmation when the request is complete.

We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. If law permits or requires more time, we will explain the reason. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, or identity documents unless we specifically provide a secure way to do so.

Data that is deleted

Deletion covers your Forespeak profile and identities, active sessions, onboarding and practice preferences, learning progress, practice history, conversation content retained by Forespeak, AI feedback and skill assessments, and other data linked to the account. We also instruct applicable processors to delete or de-identify account-linked data where required.

Deleted data may remain in encrypted automated database backups for up to seven days before those backups expire. Limited records may be retained longer when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax or accounting, or another legal obligation. Those records are isolated from ordinary product use and deleted or de-identified when the applicable purpose ends.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your account does not cancel a recurring subscription or create a refund. Cancel first through Apple or Google Play if you do not want it to renew.

If you used Sign in with Apple

Deleting Forespeak removes the account and associated data from our systems, but it may not remove Forespeak from the apps connected to your Apple Account. After deletion, follow Apple’s instructions to stop using Sign in with Apple for Forespeak. If you sign up again later, Apple may ask you to authorize Forespeak again.

Delete specific data without deleting the account

For a narrower request, email hello@forespeak.ai and identify the data you want removed. We will explain what can be deleted while keeping the account functional.
